In 1965 my sister and I attended a Beach Boys Concert in Vancouver, our favorite song was Sloop John B, In 2015 my sister died from MS, after she passed I was in Vancouver taking many of her possessions to her friends around Vancouver, as I drove around I tuned in AM 650, a 60s rock station on the radio, around 5 : 30 PM driving up Marine Drive, alone in the car, I asked my sister if she could play Sloop John B, as the Lord is my witness, seconds later it came on the radio, Rest in Peace Carey .

Unbelievable arrangement! Superb vocals... Great lead & backup vocals... Perfect!
The entire group of musicians could have not given a better performance. They were all in with heart & soul. Everyone put a lot of feeling into the song... you all made the songs words come alive! I have been around a long time, going to clubs, concerts and cruises, you guys are truly Great! Brian Wilson would be proud of your performance and your arrangement, which is a difficult one that Brian put together for the original Beach Boys hit song!
Love you Fendertones... -DJ Sal - Boston, MA

I love this and play it whenever I'm feeling down. This and The Walk of Life by Dire Straits. I'm 92. Thank you for doing this for us.

I am a retired, life long musician. The amount of forethought, and talent, in singing, and playing, is totally amazing! Brian would be proud of you! Such a moving piece of work, and done to perfection, .Great job! ❤❤❤

I'm listening to this brilliant true rendition after hearing that Brian, the last brother standing, will be placed under conservatorship a month after Melinda died suddenly. He is fading. Somehow, Sloop John B feels the right song to listen to right now. It's about longing. Brian orchestrated a timeless version of this old ballad. Here, the Fendertones pay homage to that sweet recording. They're like a modernday East Coast Beach Boys. What is best about their renditions is that they knew enough to stay true to the originals. You cannot improve on perfection, and the Fendertones know/knew it. Yet they came pretty close themselves with this excellent recording. Thank you for the exacting effort in this and all Beach Boys pieces I see here online. Right now, I'm so broke up. I want to go home.

I have been playing this at UNREASONABLEY LOUD volume, at least weekly, since it first showed up on Youtube video, many years ago.

NOTHING says 60's music for this 84 year old this production does.

So thankful that these folks like the BB's so do them this proud.

Thank and again.

( hope you are still at it )

Brian was painstakingly meticulous when he arranged this song and these guys & gal got as close to the original as I could ever hope to hear. Great job one and all.

Just goes to show you how complex this song was and how easy the Beach Boys made it sound. This particular rendition is wonderful.
