My mom has the original blendjet, and this is a very honest and accurate review. Surprisingly powerful for a usb chargeable portable blender. Mom’s had hers for going on 3 years now. Still holding up nicely.

basic rule for blendjet - add water. Read the instructions before use.

That’s why the instructions tell you to add water first. So that the blade doesn’t begin with a bunch of weight already on it. You’re gonna damage the motor doing shit like this.

If you absolutely don’t want to “water down” the taste/purity of your blend, break the clementines into pieces first. And turn it on upside down, with nothing touching the blades. Then, with the blades already turning, slowly tilt the unit so that the chunks gradually meet the already turning blades.

Rule number 1 is to add liquid to the blender first to keep the motor from burning out and to get a finer blend rather than having chunks in your mix
