Carolyn was exquisite. She was intelligent, and she was wise enough to know NOT to overpower or compete with John for attention, and all this, though she was a rare, exquisite beauty. Caroline’s strength to be herself, her own person, NOT to compete for the spotlight, was a breath of fresh air as feminine as her quiet dignity, and lovely as her impeccable taste in the clothes she wore...and the man of her heart. Add to that, she was NO mouse. Only the most foolish flaunt themselves. I hope that it’s true that she and John are still alive. I hope, and hope, and hope.

I remember hearing about how much Carolyn hated the spotlight and even feeling a bit sorry for her, I would personally hate that life. She was being constantly harassed by the paps, I remember it distinctly, even when Jfk Jr held a press conference and asked the press to respect their privacy, but of course they didn't! I wouldn't be surprised if they had gone into hiding, I certainly hope so. It was a terrible tragedy and loss for the world. TBH with so many jaw dropping revelations over the last few decades, nothing would surprise me!

Why did she marry John when she knew he would eventually run for office? She would have to deal with reporters for the rest of her life. I believe they would have gotten a divorce because they wanted different things in life.

No real similarities between these two. Diana was a natural blonde, Caroline not. Diana was 21 when she married a much older male, Caroline was well into her her 30's. Diana was aristocratic by birth, Caroline was not. Diana married an actual prince, JFKjr. was not actual royalty in the actual sense of the word. And lastly, Charles is still alive and remarried whereas both Caroline AND JFK Jr left this earth together. That's terrible. Also, papparazi had nothing to do with Caroline or JFK jr's demise, whereas it had everything to do with Diana's. I hope my comment doesn't offend anyone. I know how sensitive and emotional people (women) get over this.
