Headline: POPULISTS MUST WIN!
Actual substance of Saagar's monologue: The GOP is a 50/50 split between libertarians and neocons - there ARE NO REAL POPULISTS IN THE GOP! Except maybe, just maybe, Josh Hawley [side note: but he's only a little bit populist. Check his voting record!].

Why in the hell in a million years would we ever listen to anyone named “Cheney” who rose to power out of pure nepotism as daughter to one of the worst war criminals in US history.

I guess as a progressive I couldn’t really tell that the right were split in the GOO. I guess it makes sense how Republican voters don’t see a difference between progressives and neoliberals

Since Nixon, GOP has always been a loose confederation of contradictory interests and ideologies.

The problem is they are arguing about who is being more loyal to Trump, when they should be arguing how loyal they are being towards their constituents.

_“The argument that the two parties should represent opposing ideals and policies... is foolish.  Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.  Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”_

*~Carroll Quigley,   Professor, Georgetown University & Author of Tragedy and Hope (1966)*

Those who subscribe to the Partisan Paradigm, unwittingly relegate themselves to navigating the political chess game, with a checkers mentality. The Partisan Paradigm, is nothing more than a mechanism, designed and devised by the establishment, to keep the putative electorate engaged and invested in an inherently corrupt, morally and economically bankrupt system of government.

In reality, there is no right or left, conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, RINO or DINO. There’s only the oligarchy, their minions and those who are foolish enough to accede to the charade.

*Behind Closed Doors, it's One Big Party and You Aren't Invited!*

Is Saagar in any way right-wing? Like at all? His 'populist right' just seems like socially conservative left-wing belief, an ideology that isn't in any way new.

Why is it that the only time I feel like Trump is losing support, is when news hosts say he is...it doesn't feel like Trump has lost any support in my area and the surrounding areas. If anything, it has caused more people to think for themselves and investigate for information on their own. The silent majority is deafening when it's time to vote.

Populists on both sides (left and right) need to win if we want to see any change in this country.

Wait, a good chunk of the GOP base is serious about fiscal responsibility..why is a senator saying they should be fiscally responsible such a terrible thing?
