What are keloids? Keloids are thick scars that grow outside the borders of a wound or incision and can often look not so appealing. Keloids can occur after plastic surgery, or any surgery in general, and are a genetic issue. Luckily we have some great treatment options available.

1- Inject the keloid with a steroid or similar product

2- Cut open the keloid, remove it, and close the incision. A month after, you’ll receive steroid injections.

3- Remove the keloid, close the incision and receive radiation directly to the actual wound.

These treatments options help to reduce the thickness of the keloid and reduce your symptoms over all!
