Daily driving a 5.0 Coyote V8

What's it like to daily drive the 412hp 2012 Mustang GT with the Coyote V8? Is it too much car for sitting in daily traffic? Absolutely not!

Any car that makes you smile driving to work is a great car. Just me. Z3, Mustang convertible ecoboost, Toyota 4runner, trd super charger. I smile quite a bit.

I've been a Chevy guy my whole life but I've always loved the sound of the Ford 5.0 engines. So much that now I'm jumping over to the "dark side" and purchasing a Ford F-150 with the 5.0 coyote motor. I'm so excited!

I've driven my 2011 GT over 87k miles, bought it with less than half a mile on the clock.. It's been a blast to use it every day. There is always an opportunity to go through the gears and throw it around a bit. Over time I've updated it a bit to make it handle flatter, lower stance, and a few engine improvements to induction and exhaust. It's one of those cars that when you walk away, you have to turn and look back at it. Love my Yegua.

O man. I have a tear in my eye. My 2012 black GT had the same interior and shift knob. Sold it for a new 2015 GT. I love my new GT but my 2012 was my true first love and id retrade my car back for it

In my opinion the stock exhaust on the 5.0 is way to quiet. Get an axleback exhaust!!

before my 2014 grand cherokee, a 2012 mustang gt was my sole daily driver. the jeep (as well as plenty of other daily drivers) is a better all around vehicle in terms of comfort and practicality but the mustang is a great daily driver because you can have a rough day at work and driving the mustang home makes it all melt away. it's the thing you get to look forward to. and although it's not the most practical, I've never had a problem with it being not practical enough. jeep is nice but I can't say I feel any of that when driving it. my plan was to sell the stang after getting the jeep (harsh winters make the jeep a necessity) but I just couldn't. Ended up keeping both.

I put on mine the roush axle back. It has almost zero drone on the highway and when you accelarate it sounds like the mix of a michine gun and a thunder

I recently got a 2012 GT premium and I daily drive it. I traded in my modded 14 V6 for it and I don't regret it.

You know a trick I just found out on my 2012 GT is that when you start it just bump the key in the ignition forward and the car continues to start up by itself like a push button start setup, it's so crazy and I found out by accident when I was starting the car and my hand slipped off the key! Have fun driving that bad steed😊

I have a 13 GT and it makes a great daily driver. I, however, prefer the automatic transmission for driving in traffic and dealing with traffic lights and stop and go conditions.

What's funny to me is that in my cruiser everyone stayed behind me and people drive so slow in front and being careful, in the Mustang everyone wants to race me. It's night and day, plus is the Mustang is much smaller and easier to maneuver.
