"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," now in its 21st season, makes television history as the longest-running primetime live-action series of all time. "Law & Order" chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes. As acting commander of the SVU, Lt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) leads with empathy and professionalism, all the while dealing with her difficult past, which influences the way she relates to the victims and perpetrators of each case. As Benson's second-in-command, Sgt. Odafin "Fin" Tutuola (Ice T) adds a unique sense of humor and undercover investigative experience. Det. Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) has earned her place as an integral part of the team and Det. Dominick "Sonny" Carisi (Peter Scanavino) brings a fresh outlook and distinctive style of investigation to the squad.

The lawyer was looking at his client like “this dude did not done!”

"You turned her against me?"
"You have done that yourself!"

I want Carisi to be both a detective and ada.

“She’s the one who should be charged here” 😂😂 I know this situation isn’t funny but I had to laugh. The lengths SOME men go to to blame women instead of owning up to their own misdeeds is insane.

I like how the lawyer feels guilty for even defending this guy

I know this dude did not use David and Bathsheba and then blame BATHSHEBA for the sin David committed. That was ALL David. The Bible said that, GOD told him that, and DAVID admitted to it!

I've loved Carisi since the day he showed up without that AWFUL mustache but I love him more as an ADA. Hes been wearing vests for a minute but now his style is very Barba-esque! Love him!

The lawyer was visibly angry with the expression on his face and he couldn't even look at his client after hearing the new charges

That's my BOY Carisi!!! 👏👏👏 Can we get a standing ovation for how masterfully done that was?! Letting the Reverend entrap himself like that, giving him JUST enough rope to hang himself...well done sir, well done!!!

Carisi aka Sunny overall has been the best addition to the SVU Squad No CAP it was a good idea making him a detective turned Litigator!!

Reverend Chase is a piece of work. How does he expect to minister to a bunch of streetwise, skeptical convicts, while he still won't take responsibility for his own sins? There are too many people like that in real life. Good episode.

That confidence, Carisi has been the MVP this season (aside from those attempts to reduce him to some romance almost ran)

What makes it even more sickening is this guy is no believer, he doesn’t actually believe in God at all. It’s a serious case of what I call false believer delusion. His preaching and his faith are all just an act for him, but it’s to the point where he’s basically conned himself into thinking his own act is real. But you’re no real believer if you use God as an excuse and/or to justify rape, murder, etc.

Way to go Carisi, putting that sinner in jail

That Reverend couldn’t be more pompous. He had the gall, to ask Carisi, “You turned her against me?”, in reference to his wife, which is a really insidious way of him arguing his wife was manipulated. How high and mighty can you be to think so little of your spouse; no one turned her against you. She made her decision of her own volition, after learning the heinous things you did time and time again. Hell, you cheated on her.

Similar to what happened to my church. Our youth leader who had worked there for over 15 years was accused of sexual assault. It literally tore our community apart, he was like a father to me and many others. He was loved by everyone. My friend was the one to accuse him, he took advantage of her depression and manipulated her and later on three girls came forward saying the same. He was sent to prison later on and we haven’t heard from him since. His kids and wife stayed by his side, therefore nobody could forgive them for defending him. He was suppose to be invited to my wedding, it’s all very hurtful even to this day. It happened five years ago now.

This was like Obi-Wan, Anakin, & Padme. "You turned her against me." "You did that all on your own."
