It took 20 yrs but It finally happened. She went from a simple detective taking orders, working cases to a lieutenant still kinda taking orders but also being the de facto leader of her squad since they had no captain and now she finally IS captain which makes her the OFFICIAL head of SVU where she calls ALL the shots, congratulations.

Olivia is a great captain she always do them cases that others detective can't work out . She will find you if they are looking for you. She put her self in danger to help and save others life. She is brave enough to take her child from someone if they have him . She is a mother and one brave detective.

I grew up watching this show since like 2004 and seeing this scene brought tears in my eyes. She went through a lot for the past 2 decades and seeing her now makes me so happy. This show will go down as one of the best crime shows in the 21st century. I hope I meet Mariska someday!
