Mine turns on for a brief second and you see the sharp roku logo and it goes right back off and I have to unplug the tv for it to happen again

I watched this video and my TV still wouldn't turn on ! I tried unplugging everything that was plugged into it like my xbox and amazon stick and then unplugged the TV. Then waited a minuet then plugged back in and it turned on ! Hope this helps someone !!!

For step 2 after removing the batteries, you said to hold down the power button for 15 seconds... Which power button? On the remote or the TV itself?

Pulling the plug works to remedy the power freeze, but have to wait about 5-10 minutes before plugging back in...as though a static charge needs time to dissapate...
