3 ways to reset Sharp LCD TVs and enter SERVICE MENU, unplug tv hold buttons input and vol.- and while holding buttons plug in tv power till tv boots up K popup should appear then press together ch- and vol- to enter service menu, or also try press menu 9,9,9,2,2,2.

I kept trying like 10 times and screen would come on for a second or 2 but never a K on screen . I then disconnected the hdmi cable so nothing was connected. Then I got the K on second try. Re initialized and tv works again. thx

Thanks a ton for posting this. My Aquos would not work with either of the remotes I use to operate it. Was starting to see what it would cost for a new remote sensor when I found your video. Unplugged it for a minute, turned it back on and all is good. Thanks again!

My sound wouldnt work so I put the TV in storage for a couple years because we didn't have a remote to get into the settings and reset it that way.. I held down the volume and input and it works again. You're the man.

Excellent video with outstanding tips! I have a Sharp 37" Aquos that was dead for over six months, and I could not find any useful information anywhere online. Finally, as I was just about to drop $$$ on some replacement modules or possibly send the TV off to e-waste, I came across this video. I used your 3rd suggestion on how to reset the TV and PRESTO, back in business! I couldn't quite figure it out for quite a few tries, but finally I got the K, entered the service menu, went through all 26 (in my case) pages twice, and turned the TV off. Turned it back on and it worked! Thank you so much!

Wow this worked! Been trying for days to figure it out. Thanks for short and simple video. Also I had to make sure to manually turn TV off before unplugging so it didn't automatically come on when plugging back in. So happy to have my TV back.
