This is driving me insane.. my tv has the red blinking light sharp aquos quantton lc-52d64u.. so I've tried the resets cords out etc. When I do that I only get it to change from the red flashing light to orange.. guess I will be watching the red dot tonight.

Here’s my situation… I have a 65 inch Sharp Roku TV, and it doesn’t turn on. Well, the red button flashes as if it IS turning on, but nothing comes up on the screen (it stays black). I tried all of the tips, but none of them worked. Finally, I did the trick where you turn the TV on and shine a flashlight on it, and I DEFINITELY saw some writing on the screen (very faded, but I could see it). Soooo I pretty much HAVE to get the backlight fixed/replaced or throw the TV away and get a new one. I don’t know how expensive it would be to fix, but if it’s more than like 150 bucks, I’m just gonna throw it away. Shame, because I’ve only owned the darn TV for like a year and a half!!!

My TV has no pictures but vertical lines. i tried to unplugged, pushed the on button for 30 seconds then plugged it back in, still not working. Is it possible the T-con board need to be replaced? Thanks
