I bumped into the professor in the frozen food aisle of a supermarket (as you do) and had a great, though all too brief, chat.

If I see that Joann Fletcher is involved with a documentary, I will pretty much drop everything to watch. She makes Egyptian history come alive, down to the detail. She is the Carl Sagan of Egyptology.

I don't know how many of these videos with Joann I've watched but I loved them all. Her curiosity and passion and COMPassion are contagious in all the best ways. Can we also please appreciate the fact that she is out here in the desert with the most burnable skin tryna share these stories of Ancient Egypt with us!

I work graveyards and get through my shifts just listening. You can tell she's passionate about what she does so you don't even need to watch unless you want to

Joanne Fletcher is such a passionate narrator. I can listen to her all day. I would subscribe right away if she had her own channel.

She needs to wear white in the desert. So she's a bit heavy, who cares? It's not a Miss America competition. That really has to burn her skin!

I love how "certain" people stole all these artifacts, art, and jewelry from Egypt, then turn around and talk about it like all is well to learn about history that was stolen!!

She was probably a defendant of many of the red haired mummies found there.
