I’ve had tinnitus for five years now, and I’ve never known silence since. The idea of it seems foreign and unimaginable to me now. I can cope with it, but I know there are others who can’t, and I feel for them. Truly an awful condition. This is a fairly accurate representation of what it sounds like to me. If you’re reading this and don’t suffer from it, please protect your hearing. For me it wasn’t a gradual onset, it was something I started hearing abruptly and it has never ceased. I remember the moment it happened. Let the fear of this torturous reality motivate you to take more proactive measures to protect your hearing from this hellish affliction. There is no cure, I’ve been told if you were to cut the auditory nerve that connects your ears to your brain making you deaf, you’d only be left with the ringing. There is no solution or roadmap to addressing this.

I'm 45 and I recently suffered sudden hearing loss in my right ear and this is what I'm hearing 24/7 every day for months now. I've never been so miserable in my life before to what I am now. I get my good days where it's not too bad and other days it's just fucking mental torture. Ring ring ring that's all I'm hearing, I just want it to end 😭

would be great if you could play these WITHOUT the background of people talking ete. That said I appricate the sounds becuase it soothes my tinnitus a bit when it is really bad. Kind like listening to what my brain says im listening to helps it sort things out for a bit.
