I know my tech level is 0, but when I was a kid. I made some rough propellant engines with a chapstick tube.. sulfur salt Peter and crushed charcoal.. it fired like this, upside down but I never did finish a good rocket to try them with. I was going to do a bundle of 6 engines in a circle.. inside a paper towel rocket with some infrastructure... that's probably the beginnings of this😂... someday I ll revisit

I used to blow a little firecracker powder down in the nozzle with my electric ignitor. You can make an electric ignitor. Look up blasting cap its just a tiny coil of thin wire with some flammable tar on it. Little oil or silicon mixed with some rust and aluminum powder steel powder firecracker powder on the coil. You can even use fine copper wire from some stranded.

The convergent zone is too big, the Kn is off. With a lower burn rate it needs a higher Kn.
