Excellent presentation! Clear, informative and understandable. Bravo!

that makes so much sense
was wondering how these had any consistency as more fuel was burned
burning inside out instead of bottom up is so simple and logical, yet i hadnt thought of it
thanks for teaching me something and immediately getting to the point
great video

Yeah please don’t do vertical videos, if it was horizontal I could actually see the entire image, but otherwise it’s good.

Thanks! I've always imagined that a solid rocket booster fuel is a whole cylinder of solid and ignite from bottom, but it never felt right because that would mean top heavy the longer it is in flight, also I thought the combustion should melt the casing. Or the combustion is too strong the casting won't hold, etc. After watching this video my no. 1 & 2 doubt is solved.

So it's ignited from the top, I never new that.

That’s how I feel after a chipotle burrito.

that was good. Brain over heating now. I'm big into how solid rocket motor works.

interesting, so solid rocket engines are basically hollow in the middle ? and how does that igniter work & generate a uniform burn of the propellant ? dont some part burn more / less, what guarantees the uniformity or the burn ?

Please more. I need more solid rocket lesson. Did you the solid fuel mixture consists of ground aluminum dust. Yep, aluminum is flammable when it is made into a dust. Ever see steel wool burn? Same concept. How idk.

How dose it cool down the injection port .... ?? it might be a Ultrahigh temperature
around the port. and That's gonna melt the injection port...

Better if it were filmed in landscape.

Oh i though it was just a tube filled with solid fuel and a flip lighter taped to the bottom

Thou shalt not film vertically on a cellphone.

Learning rocket science but can't figure out how to operate phone camera.

All that knowledge, and shooting video in portrait. Technical experts are helpful, but remember, they still may have zero understanding of how anything else works. (See: Coronavirus nonsense)

Isnt this technology old and obsolete? I mean there is no chance of any kind of re-usability, ever..
