Just to add after doing whats in the video i still didnt get the allow button so i went into my finder and deleted the ssd application then downloaded it again once it downloaded it asked me to allow it in settings and it worked again!!!

Mine never says "allow" under the Privacy settings. It was working fine on my old Mac, but I got a new one, and now the new one won't detect the SSD. I'm not sure what to do. I have it on the reduced settings already too.
