In response to some of the comments, this wasn't Marc Bolan's most successful period. Dreamy Lady is not Bolan's best. However, Marc craved the public eye and appeared on Supersonic many times. Sure, it was a million miles away from the height of T.Rexstacy but it brightened up my Saturday mornings. By 1977 he had rediscovered rock'n'roll and the final incarnation of T.REX was a blast. Had he lived I'm sure there were many rock classics to come from Mister Bolan. So just enjoy the video. Thanx.

I disagree, I feel that his performance of dreamylady as well as when he was clothed in that groovy velvet? purple jumpsuit with silver zipper was great! great song, he hottter than a hot summer heat stom scorching through July.

dont feel bad for marc - marc tried lots of different looks to keep up with the times - if marc did not die in 1977 i bet we would have saw and heard lots of stuff that would have shock us - and marc would love every minute of it

What does not stop amazing me, me who read about ten books including Tony Visconti's excellent biographie, it is which point Marc changed it so few years: on 1972 Born to Boogie he is still himself physically, included games of scene, on 1973 and more he seems influenced by the actresses of the silent movies of Hollywood, body movements, excessive make-up etc. Is it to have been alone without June and without those who kept him "good" ?

It's possible that the recording was never meant for wide screen? I find lots of people look bigger when the TV is set on the inappropriate setting. Could be a bit of that going on here too? Love Marc anyhow, and you can tell he saw this as funny 😂

andyt-rex I disagree I feel this is marc bolan stronger than ever and sexier than ever. I wish he wasn't so put down. it was bad enough what Gloria Jones did to him please respect his feelings the way u would respect your own. thank you.
