Rock 'n' Roll Chaos! Love it. Bolan looks like he hasn't slept in a year, tambourines are abused and used to play guitar solo's, the back-up singers are enthusiastic to the point of speaking in tongues. This is magic. Never tire of it.

This is one of the finest examples of chaotic rock n roll. Absolute classic.

This song has just been tore up, shredded into something that is unrecognizable by today's standards. This is the real bang a gong.

Saw T.Rex as Tyrannosaurus Rex in 1968, man they were flying so high the music was almost otherworldly, outstanding, saw them again 1972 again the best, Bolan he was the true showman big hair, massive voice an icon of the 60s & 70s and a great musician. I’ve seen some massive bands in the past, but you never forget the 60s 70s bands that gave us real music and freedom!

Marc Bolan and T.Rex understood what rock and roll should sound like. Astounding!

I saw T.Rex do this live in Folestone back in the 70's, I was lucky enough to grab the tambourine, and still have part of it today :-)

At a small club in Liverpool. Fella named Elton John and John Lennon and Paul McCartney paid real money to watch this man onstage. All were blown away. That level talent. Marc.

Live performance at its finest, utterly raw.

Not like a studio recording at all and that's exactly the point. Those two backing vocalists are wild man.

Midnight Special was great. A show that allowed musicians to perform without absurd time limits on them for the next commercial. Damn there were some great moments of shear creativity, creative freedom and expressionism.

I remember the Midnight Special. It was the first oppurtunity to see what the bands I listened to on the radio looked like. There were some wild epic performances on that show. This was one of them.

An Amazingly Hot🔥🔥🔥🔥
Live Performance!!! This is 1973, to bad I missed this live performance. The Midnight Special was a Great Show to watch especially after coming home from partying.😉 These Back Up Singers sure used their God given voices !! I wasn’t a T-Rex Fan in 73 when I was 23 but I most certainly appreciate T-Rex now 2023 (I’m 73) and Marc Bolan, RIP left this world much to soon. These Musicians were BadAss!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🎤🎸🪘🎼🥁🎧♥️

Whether you like this brand of music or not…. One thing for sure is that the musicianship was much better in the 60s and 70s as well as 80s…. Then it is today, by a huge margin!!!!

The more over-the-top, frenetic, and raunchy Bolan was, the better. This is how rock-and-roll is meant to be played. Love that snarly, crunchy tone!

This is what the 70's was all about. Great Rock and plenty of it. I was so lucky to have been a teen during those years. The UTube time machine has made me a teen again. Let's not get hung-up on dissecting it...just sit back and enjoy it...especially Bolan and T-Rex.

The theater I went to see Longlegs at played this performance before the movie. I needed to listen / watch it again immediately after.
