Without knowing this video existed, I bought into this “BMW TRAVEL & COMFORT” accessory system for my 2020 G05 X5 last year. I now realize why there are TWO tablet holders listed. Brian demonstrated their base holder (Part 51952408224 $162). I went with the “Tablet Holder Pro” (Part 51955A4DA75 $227). At 0:03:55 he shows the button to articulate the angle. The PRO version is (buttonless) friction-articulated at TWO spots ; this allows the bracket to be positioned HIGHER. The PRO has a cleaner look without the excessive jaw protrusions at top & bottom. Both versions use a button to ratchet its clamping. Basic is all black plastic. The jaws on the PRO features trim that matches the brushed metal in the rest of the X5 cabin. The PRO’s jaw opening is 8.7” or 221mm. My 4th gen 12.9” iPad Pro has a width of 214mm. Add a clever cushion inside the jaw and it’ll hold fine without the rubber jacket case. I’ll get around to posting pics on BimmerFest if there’s interest.

Thanks for putting up some x7 videos... we love our X7 M But our little guy loves to kick they ipad tablet holder. I would recommend getting the adapter ($15) for previous x5 models...That puts the ipad on the headrest bars...Just out of reach of the little kiddos feet

You can also change the orientation of the holder from staying upwards to downwards
