In the futuristic year of 2019, Los Angeles has become a dark and depressing metropolis, filled with urban decay. Rick Deckard, an ex-cop, is a "Blade Runner". Blade runners are people assigned to assassinate "replicants". The replicants are androids that look like real human beings. When four replicants commit a bloody mutiny on the Off World colony, Deckard is called out of retirement to track down the androids. As he tracks the replicants, eliminating them one by one, he soon comes across another replicant, Rachel, who evokes human emotion, despite the fact that she's a replicant herself. As Deckard closes in on the leader of the replicant group, his true hatred toward artificial intelligence makes him question his own identity in this future world, including what's human and what's not human.

I don't get why the trailer makes it look like an action film with OST from The Fountain instead of the actual film score by the wonderful Vangelis, but the movie is a perfect masterpiece. The trailer just had some poor execution.

Blade Runner Final Cut in 4K HD: Finnest Quality, Superior Workmanship

This was my favorite version of Blade Runner. Blade Runner: Final Cut (2007) and Blade Runner: 2049 (2017) are equally great. Here's an idea, instead of remaking classic Sci-Fi films, why don't we upgrade them with modern Special Effects, release a director's cut and put these films back in theaters?

I don't what is wrong with most people, but I imagine this trailer is not what the UHD disc looks like, I don't even know why they bother releasing trailers like this, massively crushed blacks, overloaded contrast and color, making the film grain look a lot harsher than it should do, for those who don't like film grain, rather than wishing the studios would get rid of it for you, your shiny new 4k TV's ( and previous 1080p ones), have DNR hardware built in, why don't you turn that on? so the rest of us can enjoy a movie made on film the way it was meant to be seen.

My fave movie for 29 years since i was 9 when i rented it as i had it taped off a blank tape from a rental version and then bought director's cut when i was 13 then bought the DVD in 2000 when i got my DVD player then in 2008 when i got my bluray player and HD TV with the 5-disc set then in 2018 when i saved up to get an UHD 4K TV and an UHD 4K player, this was my first UHD 4K BD purchase.

It was worth every penny as it looks and sounds superior than ever on UHD 4K as you think it's a movie that came out in the last decade, a must own for UHD 4K player/TV owners
