So if an arguments premises are false and the conclusion is also false does that mean that the argument is valid?

I understand the argument is not sound, since the premises and conclusion must be true.


With the definition of validity given in the video, would the following be valid?

Premise 1: false
Premise 2: false

conclusion: false

How does Logic relate to Mathematical Linguistics? Is Logic a sub topic of ML or is it rather the other way around? The reason I'm asking is because I wonder which of the two playlist you would recommend to watch first, ML or Logic? I like to start with the topic having a more more general / wider span first and then the sub topic(s) after.
