Testing Cops with Open Carry AR Pistol - Wise or Foolish?

After having watched a video of an open carry advocate conducting a "second amendment audit" by carrying an AR pistol in public in Edmond Oklahoma, I felt compelled to offer this commentary.

I got weapons, and as much as I like open carry, I try to conceal as much as I can to avoid causing panic around the people in public places.

I cracked up when the officer held the pistol next to his own rifle and looked at the guy like “bro this is a rifle” hahaha

I like the way the officers responded how fast they were able to deescalate themselves in the situation. I liked how respectful the auditor was I liked how the officer had the idea of the auditor letting them know that he was going to be in the area and do the audit. The lack of gun control by the officer holding the firearm and the fact that nobody check to see if the gun was loaded or chambered really bothered me.

Interesting that the guy testing the officer's knowledge mistakingly kept referring to a butt stock as a fore grip

The cop was right. He doesn't know what there walking into. This man could have been killed.

My brother built a 10.5 inch AR-pistol. When he showed it to me I was like "Dude, there is nothing pistol about that. That's ridiculous", and he says "yeah, but under the law it's considered a pistol"

C’mon dude, you think that officers can respond to those things in time to stop them even when they have nothing else to do? Get a grip.

People need to be armed, period. This guy is helping that become commonplace.
