Soft body invertebrates rarely fossil and if they do it’s very poorly. This could be a true animal that did exist and we just can find any fossils cause they’re so rare or fragmentary.

My man couldn’t even bother to put a shirt on for the podcast. Low key respect it, lol

Its confirmed lads, the weird thing that brushed up against my leg when I was swimming in the Atlantic as a kid was a kraken.

Glad we could solve this mystery gentlemen, now onto the mystery of the two red eyes I saw in the woods with my friend at 8:40-something PM 17 years ago in late September well after the park had closed. Let's get on it.

If there was a megladon, then there was probably a kraken

there is nothing BY FAR more terrifying than what lurks in the depths of our oceans

We take walks in Tule Springs habitat all the time, you walk about a mile out and suddenly there's a stretch of river rock that just goes forever. So cool what lived out there and thrived in what is now just desert.

The more clips I see of this, the less clothes that one guy wears

There would be no evidence of them existing either, except two little pieces of beak and some, perhaps some, hooks from their suction cups if they even had them and depending on what they were made of, could very well have failed to be fossilized and drifted into calcification.

So many creatures in the past that we don’t even know exists. And it sucks we might never

The ocean is fascinating and terrifying just like space.

Considering we only know of a small portion of all of the creatures currently on the planet I think it’s absolutely possible for there to be or to have been a Kraken-like squid. Especially since soft fleshed ocean creatures don’t really leave fossils.

This is whats called "moving the goalpost"

Its a term used when someone tries to give evidence for a claim that was never made in the first place, or answers a question that is different than the original question asked. The original question was "do you think there _is_ a Kracken?" _NOT_ "do you think there ever _was_ a Kracken", therfore showing evidence it may have existed in the past isn't really a proper response to asking someone if it exists now.

most ichthyosaurs didn't come close to 40 ft btw, but with some exceptions such as shonisaurus.

When going back to the Triassic there could even have been intelligent Cephalopods that created a civilization we just wouldn’t know about it because it withered away from time
