Thanks for the video, nicely made and edited, the Graphics used for the tentacles was cool. Some part was believable others not let's see why. 3:14 - If a mass that size comes out of the ocean, there is sure to be crashing waves and the vessel would be moving up and down quite violently. Plus the Birds circling it would have left minutes before the being is sighted as they know nature and have keener senses than we do. A large object coming from below is likely sensed by a bird. Similarly in many other videos, the tentacle is coming just "transparently" out of water that dupes the entire realism thing. But good enough make believe for an audience less educated in VFX.

I love the second one as like this apparent Kraken is off the coast the person is filming a water spout and then pans to the Kraken and then is like meh that's lame back to the water spout
