So many great ideas about regifting or getting used items as gifts. The commercialism around Christmas reduces the specialness of the season. I would much rather have the advent calendar you sent Cat than an expensive new bought gift. You put so much thought and love into it 🌲💜🌲

I love black licorice (the US version is all I've had...but I love it)...but I'm not sure about the salty and sour part. I did go watch Cat's reaction...and it was so funny! :)

I've made one for my roommate this year. She loves bullet journaling as I do, so I've put there some washi tapes, watercolors and paperclips (with stars and hearts!). But also some bookmarks, candies from dark chocolate, hairpins, ribbons, hair rubber bands and for 24th December green blooming tea. I hope she'll love that. Thanks for your video, I really enjoyed it. ♥

I made this year my first ever advent calendar and send it all the way to... Norway 😁 I included some stationery stuff and sweets 😋 Here in Poland gifts should be brand new because you may offense someone but personaly I think that you can give someone a sample of something or item without a tag because you won't use it. The only important thing is to give the person something that she/he would like not just something that you don't like 😊

I LOVE this idea! I just started penpalling with a friend in Australia (I'm in WV, USA), and we are going to do this in July for a Christmas in July thing. Cause it's too late to do it now. Plus we have a while to plan and collect things and save for it. :)

This is such a sweet idea! Will have to do this next year with my sister. Some of my favorite teas are: Breakfast in France (Stash), and Jasmine (Smith Tea Co). If you prefer herbal teas that do not contain caffeine I highly recommend Bengal Spice (Celestial Seasonings) and Passion Hibiscus (Tazo). There is also Harney & Sons (any flavor!) out on the East Coast that have adorable tins that would make wonderful souvenirs. xx
