I’m Portuguese. From the Azores. I love the way you speak English. And the way you speak Portuguese is really outstanding. Keep up the good work.

Obrigado! I was born in Portugal but immigrated to U. S. 60+ years ago and I am ashamed that you speak better than I. Continue the good work!

Regards from Bikram Thapa all the way from South Eastern, Barahakshetra Municipality, Sunsari district Nepal. Tenho observado você desde os últimos quatro anos no YouTube. Você é meu melhor professor.

Just a note to thank you Liz for the time and obvious effort you've put into making these videos. We have just returned from our first (most certainly not our last visit) and your videos, my dreadful pronunciation, and willingness to engage the local folks made our vacation. The 30 day challenge, numbers and survival Portuguese all added to our enjoyment of a brilliant country!
Thanks again

Great for revision! For some of us there's no metro nearby....so will need to substitute a estaçāo de comboio (the train station) or a paragem (de autocarro) (the bus) stop.

I'm fascinated by this video. Rarely someone does portuguese pronunciation. Of course there are some details to work on but you are almost Portuguese. Many congratulations on your work. You have a fan. Finally someone knows that "João" is pronouced like "awn" and not "Aw". Very good indeed. Keep up the good job! Anything you need, feel free to ask!

Thanks for this video - as this morning I was trying to find where I'd printed the 30 phrases! Your course is great, and I'm still learning and reviewing!
