Ready to go shopping? What are you buying this holiday? Tell me how it goes!

The most notable thing about this challenge was that Luke and Sarah didn't seem to have any difficulty understanding what the lady was saying, despite her regional accent or not being particularly careful to speak slowly. Being able to understand a native speaker speaking casually is as important as being able to speak their language. Way to go, Luke and Sarah! 👏

De todas as pessoas que utilizou nos seus desafios, este casal era de longe o melhor. Eram realmente bons.

I’ve recently discovered your channel, Liz, and I’m loving it! My family and I are coming to Portugal soon (🤞🏼), hopefully to find our new home, and your videos are helping immensely with learning Portuguese. Obrigada! From another Londoner xox

Thank you! I was feeling so discouraged, but this gave me hope I can get some basics mastered before our visit in the spring.

Just wanted to make the first contact :) I think my husband and I could very much use your help! Duo Lingo doesn't cut it for us we love your approach and we're also in the process of setting up a homestead like Luke and Sarah.

My friend actually owns some goats and sheep, so, if I ever make my way to Portugal, this stuff might actually come in handy. Thanks for the vid, Liz :).

So helpful!! Do you have one for like this for grocery shopping?? I've heard that checking out at the grocery store is definitely not the same as in Estados Unidos.

Muito Obrigado ! Could you please help me with one specific question? -In case I point at something and ask for its name (now what is it, but for the name of it), how do I ask? (1) Qual é o nome disso? (2) Como e chamado? (3) Como se chama? Which question is grammerly correct? Which question is more commmon the European Portuguese? Thanks much and Kind Regards.
