Cant believe they changed the towns name


(For those who watched this. The town's name is El Reno in Oklahoma)

Is this just an update on Twister? Or is there more to the plot than just running and hiding from a Tornado?

The plot seems very questionable. That being said, the may 3rd style mesocyclone and tornado actually looks very good. Not realistic though, due to the tv meteorologist is not David Payne, or Mike Morgan. Anyone from 5 does not count.

highlights are better than the actual movie, racism, homophobia, teenage pregnancy, and a horrendous tornado where people ignored the initial warnings, which weren't much

Some movies you watch only because some preferred actors show up. The attempt to share the stories/struggles of folks was well-intended, but something about it didn't work. I don't know how to diagnose the fail. Is it the the directing? I would like to see Thora Birch and Amy Smart cast in better films because they no doubt have abilities evident by their past work.

When I started this movie about a tornado destroying a city I never would have thought it would have been one of the most woke movies I’ve ever seen. Who made this Disney? Good lord nothing is safe. Shut it off 30 minutes in.

Dear lord. I'm from Texas and I'm fascinated with tornadoes and have almost been picked up by one. Please tell me the comments are wrong and they didn't ruin this by making the story of el reno woke....
