Release Emotions with Somatic Processing
When you are intensely triggered, you might not be in a position to analyze yourself and find the root cause of why you were triggered if the emotion is very intense. It might be better to practice somatic processing, a way to witness your emotions which will help you dis identify from the emotion and reduce the painful sensations in your body. Practice makes perfect, so every trigger is an opportunity to get curious about your emotions and discover that they are merely uncomfortable sensations in your body.
