an out standing film! Breath taking performance by Dafoe, the tension leading up to the tear jerker ending is absolutly brilliant. Its now one of my favorite movies. The simple minded sheep may find it boring but their opinions really don't matter in any situation!

What I liked about this one was the fact it was not just some hollywood picture they churn out for money, this was quite intelligent and had some sense of art, even reminded me slightly of a Chabrol film

It seems interesting, but what really bothers me is how people antagonize extinct animals and treat them as 'other' or 'dangerous' when in actual fact these creatures were only that. Animals.

This movie was much better than I thought it was going to be. If you don't want to see SPOILERS stop reading.. I really would of loved to know more about the fire. Did the towns people start it? Or was it really an accident?

this was a very well put together movie, very good quality and excellent acting as well as directing. the story is well put together, not some hollywood jerk fest, but more hollywood than some indie film shot from an iphone. very good movie. willem dafoe is excellent
