Why did he kill it? If it's gonna be made extinct, why kill it then burn it. Throughout the whole film I thought his gun was a tranquiliser gun and he was gonna capture it or give it a steak or something. Was he trying to prove a point? Good film but the ending lost me on why he shot it.

@edensinyourpants I think if you pay attention to the trailer, it becomes quickly obvious that the tiger is not what's dangerous, but rather some other man out in the wild with a gun (see the scene where WIllem picks up a skull with a bullet hole in it)

why are people confusing the tassie tiger for the tassie devil? :') they are completly different animals and tassie tigers would eat chicken because they used to attack sheep and they are much bigger than a chicken :')
