How to Mix PRO Sounding Vocal Stacks with VocAlign Pro

A really good vocal mix can make or break a song. A lot of songs today feature Vocal Stacks with multiple vocal layers, and getting all of those vocal layers to sit perfectly in the mix together can be a challenge. Hi Patrick. I enjoyed your video very much. I just found out about this VocAlign plug-in about 4 days ago from watching a video from Austin Hull. However I seem to have learnt just a little more from you and another young lady named Elaine Vera. You two explained a bit more to me by using multiple vocals in your videos and I appreciate that. I am a former retired postal worker and a former retired Choir Director/Musician and I am working on my Bucket list at the moment. I am enjoying this musical journey that I am on right now. Did you use Vocalign for the ENTIRE un-aligned stack (group) at the same time, OR use Vocalign for EACH vocal in the un-aligned stack individually? If you aligned the entire stack (group) at the same time, wouldn't that create some crazy artifacts? OR, does Vocalign automatically align each vocal in the stack (group) individually? You went through it quickly and I didn't catch how that actually works :) Hopefully you can clarify ... thanks for the awesome video! :)

How does it compare to Logic's GrooveTrack? Some would say they accomplish the same thing. Did you experience problems with GrooveTrack?

So if you using a number of harmonies don't use pitch correction right? Or you can but use Match Unison and Tune Non-Unison? I concerned if I am doing 3rds and 5ths they will be changed. It would be cool to have them in pitch but keep the harmony is that possible? Second question is if the back vocals are ad libs like singing a word here and there will the Smart Align work for this? Thank you
