It's interesting about the mileage with hybrids and plug-in hybrids. My "high school car" 1986 Honda CRX HF regularly got 62 or more MPG on the highway when I had it the mid-90s. And it was a hot little car at the time too.

I'm stuck between 2 options. I'm interested in your thoughts. 2016-2018 3-motor gasoline or 2016-2018 2-motor plug-in hybrid? their maintenance cost, etc. considering the issues, which one do you recommend I buy?

I test drove a new plug-in hybrid Peugeot 3008 in Spain yesterday. I absolutely loved it, and think it's one of the best looking new cars on the road. Too bad I don't have anywhere to plug it in where I live. 😢

Right now, in the U.S. there is a lack of infrastructure with charging stations. Also, the downside is you have to install a charging station at home. Full charge you can travel 300 miles and due to the lack of infrastructure you can be in a bind when your charge is a 1/4 left before you get stuck on the road. This dude made this channel to make money to sell plug ins.

Yeah, it’s a no for me. People don’t wanna have 2 different energy sources to worry about. It’s either regular hybrid or full electric.
