when you start a new credit card trying it out do you pair one card with another example

say you have the Chase Sapphire preferred and you get that new Bank of America card and let's say you get your car olied and lubed the bill is 100.00
do you put 50.00 on each or only use 1 card the new one?

wouldn't it make the most sense to open a New card when you spend the most money?

I just added a card not a cash back card and not a travel card but a store credit card Macy's the American Express level.

Kinda random, but it would be pretty cool to see a video about the best strategy (banks/cards) after Chase. So if you're only starting out and you're getting done with all the Chase cards, what should be next? I know there's a few banks that if you have tons of cards with other banks will deny you regardless of income and credit score, so a strategy taking all those little details into account 🤔

Redeemed 120K capital one points (thanks Venture X) on Turkish for flights to Puerto Rico and Hawaii (2 adults 2 kids) and another 64K delta points for Orlando (taking my daughter to Disney for her 4th birthday)
