You do not need to counterstrafe. Simply letting go of the movement keys and shooting will do the trick, not even yay himself can hit the window where counterstrafing is more effective than simply letting go of a or d. You should not stop if you already do it, it isn’t harmful, but it’s not worth learning in the slightest.

if I remember well, the deadzone guarantees you the 90% of accuracy when you speed is 0%<x≤30% (+ gun first shot accuracy).
btw I love that someone has noticed theese details <3

Just move sideways and try to be unpredictable, dont think about stuff so much. Only way to get good is no life-ing. Have comfort in losing, dont feel bad abt dying too much. Its part of the game think abt next round etc gl hf idk why I typed all this

One important part is the timing of your movement, and it all comes from your fingers

it's so annoying how people think the 10ms difference between counter strafing and strafing normally actually has any realistic effect on your gameplay

You forgot that the FSA varies between guns and when ADSing. Assuming your velocity is at 0, the Vandal has a first shot spread of 0.25 and 0.15 when ADSed, while the Phantom and Guardian have a first shot spread of 0.1
