As a trickster main, I’ve never seen something more accurate

The best way to counter Trickster is to run up to him and give him a hug. Tell him that there are people out there who love him, including you. In fact, you love him most of all. Everybody just wants to be loved. Do you know how many people commit murders because they weren’t loved? A lot. The only reason he’s killing people is because half the fandom treats him like dirt and doesn’t love him. The best way to counter that is simply to show him affection.

Funny, but as someone who plays trickster a bit, I guess I’ll do my 3 tips to go against him.

1. Pick your loops carefully: Unlike huntress or deathslinger, trickster relies on constant line of sight to do damage with his knives (unless he’s running trick blades and understand how to ricochet them of objects reliably). Huntress and deathslinger only need to hit you once while trickster needs to throw multiple knives so picking loops with high walls that he can’t throw knives over can easily extend looping times, especially with him being slower than most others.

2. The melody: while it’s hard to hear, trickster does have a melody that consists of static that essentially makes his terror radius up to 40 metres. If you pay attention and hear it, it can allow you to enact on a plan much earlier and can allow you to know you’re dealing with a trickster much quicker.

3. Range is the game: keeping as far and as spread apart from the trickster and other teammates can be a great idea. Since he requires multiple knives hits and the laceration metre can decreases overtime, forcing him to make shots at a distance is generally more beneficial as he needs to hit you multiple times and while they are fast, how bright they are and their rapid succession can easily tell you where the trickster is opposed to the other ranged killers. It’s also generally difficult and not really rewarding for a trickster to snipe people with knives across the map in comparison to huntress who can be greatly rewarded for it. Also being spread out from others is really good against trickster in particular as he can easily switch targets when it comes to his knife throwing and has the potential to get unprepared people down quickly so spreading out can avoid multi down situations.

The counters are.
1. Press the button/key to open up options
2. Press the button/key that says "Leave Match"
3. Click/press the button that confirms you want to leave the match

My trick is avoid playing tight, alot of players will try and focus on obstacles no matter what even if it's enough to just run around it. Though it just helps him close distance I tend to see people run around a tree or tight corners to avoid as soon as possible, but I prefer taking the longer routes even if it means getting hit a few times to get to the window I need. Though it can be map dependant sometimes.

As a trickster main, I got some.

1. Pick loops with higher walls. Most of the time, we aren’t gonna follow through on it, and instead pelt you with knives if it’s low enough.
2. We will 100% rip a Main Event to down someone, so we can get shit like Starstruck going.
3. If we’re running either the Ricochet, shattering or Piercing knives, stay away from each other. Spread out as far as you can.
If we stopped throwing knives at you, we’re either out of ammo, or trying to catch up with you.

One thing I learned in the game is if your looping any killer literally any and if you get hit go to a different like looping area

I had 3 people dc on me when I was playing trickster and the funniest part is I was playing normally. I wasn’t camping or tunneling. But the team wasn’t very coordinated so I was able to get everyone on death hook and I gave the last person hatch cuz I felt bad that everyone else dc’ed
