I play Oni a lot, and tip 1 isn't that good. Because, a good Oni will see you're going to go around a corner, adjust accordingly, swing, and will likely hit you. I see a lot of players doing this and it gets them downed more

That first one is not a good tip. He can hit and inst turn at the same time.

Bruh Ive been behind Oni and their 1000% sensitivity still gets them that 180 turn hit

Oni hits around corners lol. Not as easily as he once did. But it still happens often enough if you're not careful with how the server actually see where both of you are

for first counter, while hitting try looking up then in the direction of the corner real fast, you'll basically rotate your hit to the corner and remove the counter ;)

I had no idea this game had so many killers! I guess I'll have to give it a try.

Yes, the best tip: don't get hit

We can turn and flick to hit you around a corner if you just stay there, it can be a little tricky to hit but experienced players can hit it pretty often.

Tip 1 is still valid, I've managed to trick a good amount of Oni with it but you have to get a good read on the killer style you're playing against. If you see a killer is patient with their hits, more likely than not, they're going to account for corner hugs and adjust their dash to be able to hit those tight corners.

If you're up against a more slugging type of Oni, Tip 1 would be a savior.

Another thing, if you're already been hit and you know you can't mind game your way out, don't use pallets and go down as far from people as you can. By this point Oni is going to be maxed out and could easily down another one or two people if you lead him to them. Seen it happen too many times.

I'd also say that this is the one killer (next to Myers) that you do not want to bodyblock. It's better to let the killer wander off and go for the unhook to get a quick heal in and have time to play bait if he does a 180.

As an oni main, even though I started recently, only really heal if it's late in the game, early game, there aren't many orbs, and hitting a healthy survivor is the equivalent of around 20, but hitting an injured does nothing, also, if injured, stay far away from gennys, hide around the edge for a little bit, there is a max of 100 orbs, there is nothing better to an oni than going to a genny and seeing a full power worth of orbs sitting there

As a oni main people really need to heal more

i hella main oni and im not even kidding: ive turned around an entire corner of a loop. if you really wanna make sure you dont get hit; act like your going one direction and the go the other. sure the oni can turn but its only for a short period so if he turns the fake direction he wont have much time to go back

Tip 1 will actually help a good oni, the first clip in the video were both easily hitable

I'm a rank 1 oni main. In the video all those moves are easy hits also throwing pallets during his power is exactly what I want cause you can just shred threw 10 pallets and possibly get a down. Want a realistic tip vault as often as you can. Use pallet when he has no power. Also trees is a good obstacle square walls are best.

I'm new to the game but jumping into lockers right when he dashes usually works for me if you exit fast enough when he is done. Obviously this only works if there's good lockers nearby.

As an oni main i must say corners only work on new onis and hillbillys

Instead of going for corners (which is honestly more dangerous than going for vaults or just pre-dropping pallets since it's possible to do a 90 degree hit when charging) Survivors should just play it _very_ safe. Focus on hiding and keeping out of sight rather than purely on gen speed.

Don't take unecessary risks, abuse shack (or any jungle jims or L/T walls) as much as possible, and be as sneaky as possible during the early game (at least the first 2 gens) even if it ends up making the beginning a tad slower.

The Oni is even worse than the Trapper early-game if you prevent an early hit. He has _no_ anti-loop without his power and it relies entirely on keeping people injured.
