In the First Episode of the Minecraft Declassified Series, We're going to try and determine who or what is behind the Cave Sounds, as well as try and discover what they even mean.

NOTE: cave sounds were added in Alpha v1.0.3; not 1.2.1 as I said in the video.
NOTE: This video was created before update 1.21, in which cave sounds 20 - 23 were added.

all cave sounds and music discs were created, and belong to, C418/Minecraft.

Socials:

(Ignore this lmao); I may not have gotten as many subs as fast as someone like Dream or Tommyinnit from the Dream SMP , but I’m glad I was able to grow as a Minecraft Creator and make better Challenges and Horror videos like Pewdiepie or Markiplier do. Karl Jacobs is another good Creator, not just because of MrBeast or 100 Thieves . SapNap and GeorgeNotFound are also cool people with their funny videos like Manhunt or Block Shuffle . They’re also fun to watch in MCC or Minecraft Monday . Thanks everyone for all the views on my Minecraft Cave Sounds Theory , as well as my Minecraft Fossils video.

I think the new update coming out actually fits well with the last part, the miner went too deep into the mine and encounters the Warden, since this is the first time the miner has ever encountered the beast his first response is to run the other way, not knowing the creature is blind and is highly sensitive to noise and echoes. The whole experience is him running away from this beast and making it out onto the surface.

The addition of cave noises already feeds into this fear of not being alone. We’re all aware that we’re all alone in a. SINGLE-player world. Yet, you get that lingering feeling you aren’t. You don’t want to be alone in a vast and infinite world, but at the same time, you hope you’re all alone and not with somebody else.

Cave sound 19 is actually the sound of an angry enderman in the stronghold... I believe

I have a theory, Steve was one of the miners who escaped, this shown by him narrowly escaping the creature in disc 11. He loses all of his items but his map. Steve is now haunted by the sounds of the accident and the trauma he has witnessed in the crash.

The miner tried to stop the minecart from crashing, a roar echos through the caves, at the Miner’s last breath he saw,
The Warden.

I actually always thought that the player (steve, alex, you, ect) had a phobia of caves. Even the mere sight of one plays the noises on the surface. Or going through a dark tunnel. This theory has alot more to back it up though!

I have a theory that mojang added disc 13 as a love letter to the horror genre and or maybe to add more mysteries and overrall make the game more intresting maybe even as a way to branch out to other communities

I think Disc 11 is when a miner tries to get out and somehow he survived the incident. He tries write a notebook to warn the others that might come to the mineshaft with danger. When he saw something that is so unusual that he starts running to nearest exist but the creature got to him first and killed him. Leaving the book unfinished and never heard of again.

I have a theory of my own: the theory goes that the miner is the person who somehow survived the rail crash incident. He desperately tries to find a way to get to the surface, but fails. The breathing sound would be the miners last breath before initially passes away. The flint and steel sound is him cooking and eating his last meal while the warden is still in pursuit of the miner. Whilst trying to find a way to the surface, the miner accidentally stumbled upon an unknown creature, which is the warden not knowing that the creature was blind his first instinct was to run the opposite direction not knowing that the creature goes off by sound. In conclusion, it was the warden that killed the miner. Thanks for reading the theory of mine!

I don’t think the sound at 5:05 is anything you mentioned. Sometimes in when your in a cave or mine rocks may move under their own weight causing a clicking sound. This often comes before a cave-in. The sounds are referred to as “Tommy nockers”.
back in more superstitious days miners believed that the sounds were made by dead miners warning the still living of incoming cave-ins by taping on the walls

Damn. The whole minecart theory is hard to digest, but I love imagining it.

Is there anyone who think that these sounds are Just underground vibrations and creepy ones is Steve/Alex hallucinations due to low oxygen? I once was in a Mountain cave, and same sh*it happened to me.

Just reinforces the theory that there were acient builder's and they were wiped out by an occurrence and eventually Turning into what we know as Endermen

After putting both theories together, it seems like monsters attacked the mine. The music disc miner was running away, while the others took mine carts and died in crashes during the commotion. The music disc miner seems to be the only survivor.
The player really seems to have come at just the wrong time, the last humans dying off as their civilization falls to monsters, villagers weighed down by illagers to prevent them from advancing and working together, the other dimensions being placed where humans once evacuated to, only to die off in those places as well. These theories seem to portray the end of humanity to monsters.

The best thing about minecraft cave sounds is that without hearing it multiple times you can’t really understand what’s making that noise

Like the roar sound, if you think about it, no monsters are hiding in caves that would be scary. It’s just zombies skeletons creepers spiders and all the others

But each mob has defined sounds, a zombie goes berrrhhh so when you hear that you know a Zombie is near

Skeltons make bone noises and spiders making hissing noises as-well as creepers.

But that roar sound, no mob you’ve seen before is capable of making that noise, and with how little time it plays for, you start to panic and wonder

The biggest fear is fear of the unknown, and these unexplained sounds are just pure nightmare fuel for panic attacks.

And they are the soul reason that I have ambience off AT ALL TIMES while playing Minecraft

Imagine if there's a mind theory where there was nothing and it was just your mind, similar things do happen in the real world

Theory for Cave 1: On a stormy day in 1855, during the California gold rush, a train was passing. It passed over a ravine before losing control and crashing down, killing every passenger. The trains locomotive was scrapped and all pieces were never found. All the ghosts of the train haunt the mine. They take turns blowing the train whistle, and just after that moment, the miners in the minecarts crash and die. It’s said that anyone that enters this mine, will never come back out alive.
