Al Condeluci, Ph.D. has been an advocate, a catalyst for building community capacities, and leader in understanding social culture since 1970. He is the CEO of Community Living and Support Services (CLASS), a community based support system for folks with all types of disabilities in Pittsburgh, PA. He holds an MSW and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh, where he is on faculty in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and the School of Social Work. He has also authored 7 books.

Born and raised in the steel town of Pittsburgh, he lives in McKees Rocks, just outside Pittsburgh, on the family hill with his wife, children and some 30 other members of the extended Condeluci family.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

What a beautiful soul. That quote from his father made me cry, as someone who has a grandmother with dementia. Made me so grateful for the beautiful friends and family in my life! Thank you for giving this speech.

i recently realize that i am a social capitalist.

I Have always had this driven force to help the world. My desire to invent rich people & bosses is more than an inside thing.

God have blocked bullets, made them vanished, & caused a window to shatter all while protecting me.

My entire life. So i enjoyed this message because i am going to have to start building relationships, in order to do God's Will on Earth.

Thank you
