Actually I’ve lost 100 pounds learning about low calorie high dense foods and how to stay in a calorie deficit. You changed my life honestly thank you.

I started slipping into the fat acceptance movement and started developing a binge disorder over COVID. Now I'm down 65 lbs and reduced my body fat percentage to 30%. It's going to be a long road but I'm excited! You've helped me keep my motivation up.

Glad that you reviewed my video Greg. Would be happy to collab and chat with you about this topic. It is definitely a polarizing issue and I tried to provide a moderate position on this issue. Let me know if you are interested in doing something together.

I'm writing from Europe, and I need to thank you Coach Greg, you were an amazing guide, in my journey from 150kg/330lbs to 82kg/181lbs.
This is just the beginning.
Thank you for your videos.

Yep. I got fat AF. My own fault, depression, ect it is a bad cycle. Now I am working to move forward and try to get leaner, stronger, and better mental health. Thanks Greg for being down to earth and not a bunch of BS.

I was never told as a child, never taught, and ended up a 350 pound mess. Finally have figured it out and lost 50 pounds.

Your no holding back attitude has been a big part of my journey.

I’m an RN. One thing I never see is obese seniors, talking 70+. Why? Because people who are obese, especially morbidly obese, never make it past their 50s, with few exceptions. No one is saying everyone should be ripped, but obesity is not healthy, period.

I’m 16 years old. When I was 15 years old I weighed 200 pounds. I was nearly obese. I started training and in one year I lost 45 pounds. Thanks to your videos and social media I had learn a lot about calories and forget about the myths of food. Thanks Greg!

I've said it once and I'll say it again. I was 230lbs and am down to 178. I changed my diet, workout 5 days a week 90 minutes a day and walk my butt off at work 15, 000 steps a day. I'm cut, low bodyfat, 6 pack abs and feel a lot better period. Was it easy? Hell no but it sure as hell was worth it 😉😁

When you stop being offended by hearing the truth and accept that you have to loose weight, not for others but for yourself, to feel better in your skin and to live a healthier life, that is when you start to respect and love yourself the way you should <3 just start it, does not matter if you make mistakes, just start it and stand up if you fail and you will learn it with time what things are working for you and how not to fail. You will see your power and will start love yourself. I have lost 40 kilograms in the last 1, 5 years. Maybe this comment is your sign to step into the ring and do something for yourself that will last a lifetime. I beleive in you.

I was 260 about 6 years ago. Got a hard very intense labour job and lost about 40 in a season. About 5-6 months. Over 3 seasons went down to 199. Felt great besides soreness from hauling bricks and rock and digging all day. Then got a back injury and then after COVID happened for a few years and I’m back to 240. It’s a struggle because food is so good and I have a sweet tooth. I still am active weekly and consider myself strong for someone who does not work out. It’s just really hard to change eating habits you’ve had for 30 years+.

I will always tell people who are overweight they are unhealthy and will continue to say it no matter my body size because I know exactly how it feels. Don’t give me that healthy at any size crap. It’s ignorant!

As a fat dude for my entire teen and adult life, about 30 years, it's 100% all me and my decisions heavily influenced by mental health issues as the cause. It has taken me decades to come out the end of that shit spiral and going from 320-330 lbs to my current 235 lbs makes me feel fantastic. I should easily hit my goal of 200lbs by summer.

Calorie deficit is the key, and quitting smoking pot after smoking it for most of my adult life has me no longer snacking and easily adhering to 1600 calories a day without feeling hungry.

The knowledge you gave me helps a lot.

My only question is: If genetics play such a role in being obese, why weren’t many people obese 30 years ago? Don’t you think that our way of living changed? Or the way we eat changed? This is a serious question.

I've gone from 108kg being my heaviest, to currently weighing 87kg, which isn't a crazy amount as opposed to others- but gotta say I feel so much better. I'm able to do pull ups, November 2022 couldn't even do 1, currently able to do 8 split in 3 sets. I'm able to run further, I get less injuries to my ankles, whether that's from weight loss or exercising and training my lower body, probably a combination of both. It definitely feels much better- I don't plan to stop, my goal is to get to around 78kg atm, which I think I can do by the end of the year.

You can definitely feel improvements to health, also makes me feel proud of myself, in terms of progression, and sticking to it.

I was 100 pounds overweight and lost 66!!! I'm so grateful i discovered your videos because you're the only honest and reasonable person on internet, i used to think cals didn't matter and i only needed to eat healthy then i used to have one sip of lemonade and binge because i thought the whole process was ruined, but this is much easier when you start caring about calories more and don't be a health freak. I love this man. 34 to go!

I’m currently down to 246lb from 291lbs over the course of 7 months(still ongoing) and I can remember how tough it was to have all that weight on me. Quite literally didn’t see a future by looking at myself in the mirror.
I can say from experience that The absolute best way to lose weight healthily and RESPONSIBLY is to monitor your weight loss and making sure it’s slower. Rushing the process will only hasten the disappointment. Watching these videos changed my mentality toward health and fitness.

Thanks Coach! More motivated than last time.

I'm not from the US, but I heard it's actually cheaper in the States to buy junk food than healthy food. Can someone confirm this?
