Terrorist attack: Survivor escapes Hamas massacre at Israel music festival | LiveNOW from FOX

Israel said it struck a tunnel on the Gaza coast early Wednesday, stopping Hamas from infiltrating southern Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces also stating they destroyed a weapons warehouse in Gaza that was being used by Hamas.

This comes amid a looming ground invasion of Gaza by Israel that officials have said is "imminent."

The war began after Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel on Oct. 7, killing an estimated 1,400 Israelis, and taking more than 200 hostages.

Andrey Peairie was at the Nova Festival when Hamas attacked. He tells LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow how he was able to survive the attack that killed more than 200 people.

Thank you so much for clearly stating what this war is about! Good vs Evil - life as we all knew it is gone. I am a grandmother living peacefully in my home with my husband in Highland Utah. My son just graduated from Jag school in the Army. His assignment given to him is a legal advisor to Special Op Commanders. He has lived in Israel while he was getting his Master’s degree. He went to Law School, graduated and passed the bar. He was working for a law firm when he felt an overwhelming responsibility to join the Army. He has only been home for about 6 weeks. He has a wife and 3 little children ( his 3rd was born 2 weeks ago). He knew when he enlisted the time was coming quickly where Israel would be attacked- on the ground. The level of pure evil of Hamas- I have no words. I want you to know WE STAND WITH YOU!! WE STAND WITH ISRAEL!! This is a war of good and evil like you said. I have cried every day for what you have gone through- and are still going through. Our hearts are broken for the beautiful people in Israel. I'm not Jewish. I'm a Christian and an American sitting in my comfy home in my mostly safe neighborhood. Since Hamas' attack on Israel, I have been crying and praying daily for Israel. I feel not only sorrow, but anger at the Godless massacre of Jews. For us, 9/11 caused collective gasps, but for Israel, this is like having a 9/11 every freakin' day for almost 3 1/2 weeks straight thus far. The murder of babies, some being cut out of their mothers and stabbed to death, the rape of women some so savage that they broke the pelvises, murdering the elderly, ALL of whom were unarmed and defenseless. I know their Mohammed was a liar. I don't know who their "Allah" is, but he isn't the God Almighty that I serve. One day, He will have His vengeance, Hell will greatly open it's mouth, and the wicked will not prevail.
