I have a theory. Morris mentioned the heart thing would take 9 minutes for Skye’s heart to stop and her dying. Then he mentioned that he would be there to bring her back but wouldn’t he witness her dying? That’s why he left, he left actually exactly when the movie hit 1:49:00 and 9 minutes later the movie ends of Skye’s death which in the real world nobody was able to witness her death. That was Morris plan all along
