👍 If you think that you can pull a job by copying a folder with a program, pasting it to the other disk and use that program just as before – well, I’ve got bad news for you: things just don’t work that way. When you start the program after you have relocated it to another disk, you are going to see an error message instead. In this video, we will find out how to move a program or game to another disk and make sure they work without errors, no matter what their new location might be.

I'm going to need to watch this a few time. Trying to move the Quicken PROGRAM from old computer to a new one. I have the file on a WD Passport, but won't open on the new computer desk top with a short cut. Trying not to get a guy from Geek Squad out here.

I had a motherboard fail on my old computer. I had bought this computer with solidworks installed on it. what I want to do is connect a drive from my old computer to my new and do this. is that possible?

I tried moving adobe folder to D drive as you describe, but it would not allow move of cmap folder containing "Identity-H" and "Identity-V" files, so when I hit enter I got a message "Access is denied" instead of "Junction created for..." What should I do next to complete this move? I have Windows 7.

damn bro, I downloaded the symover, and was happy to move around some folders and programs to another disk . But next day the disk D i moved the programs to was gone . Can't find it anywhere, no solutions has helped so far to recover it. 🤖

I did the second method to move files. But I'm facing some problems so do I undo it?

If I move the programs that I want from a full C Drive to the D Drive - will they still work if I do a "clean" install of Windows 10 of the C Drive, which I believe includes a format of the C Drive, which I am hoping will get rid of a lot of the other programs that have inserted themselves onto my C Drive?
