What is the best vlogging youtube camera for under $200? I compared the Canon t3i, Zoom Q2n 4k, Gopro Hero 5 and Canon Vixia RF800. I ran some comparison tests for picture quality, audio, b-roll.

Finally someone who doesn’t confuse “budget” with a $600 camera.

I honestly sincerely telling you this....
This is the most relevant video to the keywords "best budget 1st vlogging camera"
You've tested them all and compared it on 1 screen, they really are affordable and you communicate all the important points we need to know. Thanks!!!

Watching this in Dec 2021 and blown away by the quality of your videos. No idea how you don’t have viewers knocking 500k. Best and most realistic tech comparisons I’ve seen in ages…

I love how thoroughly you reviewed these. I've watched so many videos that were crazy expensive and at the end say well they all work but don't compare what works better for what features.

I don't know how people use their DSLR cameras to vlog. Arm muscles must be crazy good. Lol

Outdoors, they all picked up wind noise except the Zoom.
Indoors, T3i was lighter and washed out colors (3rd place indoors), versus the Vixia was muted and fuzzy picture (4th place indoors). GoPro mic is nothing special but had a cleaner picture (2nd place indoors), overall though the Zoom sounded better and still had good picture.

The T3i even at 60 still seemed like it was only recording at 20fps, but great pictures. The Vixia just was nothing great, more on par with the $100-120 cameras. GoPro's biggest issue is the mic so an external is definitely needed. I believe the Zoom is the winner, but that is my opinion.

The first person to ever make me want to 'subscribe' to anything on here...but this video is so compelling...so fair, so thorough, so honest.

And so Australian...

I love my VIXIA RF7000. I understand what you mean about some weird tints but I've played around with lighting for my videos to make it look better. I attached an eternal for studio purposes but vlogging, it's fine on its own. A love it haha

You've really put things in perspective. The flip out screen is something I hadn't considered until now. A for sure requirement now. Great work Tyler

Very in depth, many real-life application examples and actually actual budget-budget cameras. Thank you! So much!

Be extremely careful that the Q2n 4K camera does not tip over when attached to a tri pod, the housing that holds the tripod is not strong. That's exactly what happened to mine, 5 month old camera, now useless. Very disappointed that Zoom would not make this right and cover this under warranty.
