'The Picture' ARRI Alexa 35 Test Footage

Starting to run tests on the Alexa 35 camera, this is the first footage I've shot with it. So far loving the camera and feeling the connection with it. Looking forward to shooting a lot more on it.

Dude, here is someone who can do more than just talk specs. Looks amazing. Never thought that a Tokina lens can kick ass like this. But then of course it's the colors and that secret ARRI ingredient that is just magic. What do you think is the secret ARRI sauce?

What strange magic is this. Even with YouTube compression, this is probably the cleanest video I’ve seen. What lens did you pair with the camera? Also, what T stop were you shooting at? You have such amazing separation between the actor an environment its like she’s jumping out at you! It looks incredible.

This really puts the larger Super35 sensor into perspective! In terms of depth, frame size, and latitude, I feel like this camera blurs the line in regards to the large format look. Also totally second your comment about the Vistas. Are they the OG Vistas or the Vista ones? Shooting 1.5 on those and maintaining sharpness makes for some really fun images.
