Good thing they finally fixed the dynamic range and skintones! We all know Arri's DR and skintones were only the *best looking of any cameras on the planet* before. Sarcasm aside, I can't believe they've finetuned their sensors even further!

The dynamic range and latitude on this is crazy. I can't wait to see some raw and graded footage. Low light should be amazing.
Arri still have my fav sensors, so I'm soooo looking forward to this

If only they made smaller cameras for single-handled gimbals for the more common folks. One can hope!

Is the readout speed at full sensor...24fps.. 180 degree shutter.. as good as the 3.2ms of the Amira..? (Arri's best) and the answer can't be "it's so good we don't have to release that data" per Arri's usual.. 😉

Why did B&H make such a boring interview for this amazing camera? Go to the official page to see a great introduction to this new camera. Don’t waste your time with this review/product introduction.

When I picked up my first commercial rental 35mm 2C in 1984, the rental house told me it's pronounced "AIR-E" not "R-E". If you listen to Gunter in this interview he pronounces it "AIR-E", as do the vast majority of German and international ARRI employees including Sean Dooley, David Levy, and Marc Shipman-Mueller seen in other recent ARRI videos. "R-E" seems the providence of YouTube hipsters, not the people who actually work there.

This is as grating as hearing someone pronounce "FUR-NEL" as "FREZ-NEL".

I’d rather shoot actual film, don’t give a flip about 4k, 3k, whatever K!
