Wow! I felt this advice on a deeper level. I originally was running into the problem of actually converting my ideal clients. I had a huge amount of doubt and anxiety around whether or not I could truly help. Where I'm stuck in the discovery calls is getting deeper with the prospect to uncover a challenge. Sometimes the calls feel too casual and I know that's on me, but I wonder how I can go deeper in these calls? I ask questions to get to deeper problems but sometimes receive answers that are generic from the prospect and I'm not sure where to take it from there.

I think I gave away way too much value on my last sales calls, and obviously they didnt work out. There needs to be a focus on what they need, but not overstuffing them with value I guess.
