Good idea getting oil pressure first, however it doesn't mean the turbocharger is getting a good oil feed.
Visually checking for oil flow with the turbo oil feed disconnected is the only real way to know the turbo is getting oil.
Yes it's a hassle, it can be messy but it's better than a fried turbo.

Great & useful information I KEPT MY Subaru running over a year after a head gasket was on the way out by just using the funnel weekly to get air bubbles out the line

.028 is way to much gap for any turbo engine, try an .018-.020

You don't need to pull a relay for the car to have the car not start after an oil change. Most cars u can push the gas pedal all the way down then try starting the car with ur foot all the way down on gas pedal.
