I watched this video just before going for a job interview at a big turbo manufacturer. They asked about my understanding of turbochargers which I wasn’t prepared for as i was going into machine maintenance.

I have been working there for nearly a year now. Thanks Donut!

I will be honest, I like lag. Whenever you stomp on the accelerator it starts to goes then it's just throws you in your seat and I love that. No lag is good for pure performance but I prefer a few second before it final kicks in just for that suspense and thrill before the boost kicks in.

Am I the only person that likes having a bit of lag in a turbocharged car? The feeling of boost building up before you feel the car launch has always been satisfying for me.

We’ve been learning a few things about engine dynamics in A&P school, and I’ve gotta say that after a lifetime of not understanding how this stuff works, seeing all these concepts fall into place is absolutely thrilling to me.

When people ask “why do only some Subarus have a hood scoop?” It takes me like 10 minutes to explain, when this guy did it in 2
