What to know when choosing between DVD+R and DVD-R

I just recorded a DVD+R and works fine on my DVD player. I used the Vidmore DVD Creator to burn video into the DVD, very easy to use but costs around 40 bucks.

oh so that's why dvd+r didn't work on my modded ps2

DVD-RW is the better because its compatible with older and newer players.
DVD+RW is ONLY compatible with newer dvd players

Download winrar, when installed. Right click an file, click add archive. Press compression type. Select 'best'.
Click ok. After done, your file size should be cutten in half.
Download power iso.
After installed.
Right click on the archive, select power iso, select add to a image file.
Then select file type: .iso
Then press ok.
After done, find the iso next to the original file you made the iso from.
Right click the iso, at this point put in your dvd-r (4.7gb), then press open with power iso, select burn on the top right corner, then just select the iso and the dvd from the dropdown list. Select burn.
Dadaa you're done. An more than 4.7gb file now is on the 4.7gb dvd.
